Ajinomoto Poland supports volunteers of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity by donating company products to the staff of the foundation: instant soups and dishes: OYAKATA, YUMYUM and Just Deli.

The main goal of the event was to collect funds for the charity Association of nursing-shelters “With confidence in the Third Millennium” which takes care of children that were left alone or taken away from their parents.The whole event contained many activities such as a live auction, lottery, delicious food market, collection of gifts and lunch basket auction. The Christmas charity event turned out to be a great success.

The employees of the Ajinomoto office in Warsaw participated in culinary workshops where, under the eye of a professional chef, they explored the secrets of Japanese cuisine. The workshop was completed with bits of advice on healthy eating habits.

Ajinomoto’s employees organized Children’s Day for their children. They organised many attractions including outdoor and artistic activities, a lottery, and factory tours. This initiative allowed the children to get to know their parents’ workplace and spend entertaining time together.

MKS OSTROWIANKA Ostrów Mazowiecka organised a football tournament on the occasion of Children’s Day for its students and the residents of Ostria Mazowiecka and the surrounding areas. As part of the ASV initiative, Ajinomoto Poland supported the club by donating football uniforms and OYAKATA products to the coaches, players, and visitors.

Ajinomoto supported the medical staff of the hospital Żeromski during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing a package of OYAKATA soups and instant dishes as a quick meal in this extremely intense time of patient care.

Considering the health and well-being of the factory’s employees, workshops with a dietitian were organized. This initiative expanded the employees’ nutritional knowledge.

Ajinomoto supports the hobbies of its employees by for example organising fishing competitions. Participants competed for President’s Trophy and money prizes.

As part of supporting a healthy lifestyle and sports motivation of employees, and taking care of their safety, Ajinomoto sponsored helmets and reflective vests for people commuting to work by bicycle.

The Ajinomoto company, taking into account the comfort of employees’ work purchased anti-fatigue mats for the floor on production lines. Carpeting increases the safety and comfort of work and prevents slipping.

The company Ajinomoto financially supported a self-government kindergarten in Małkinia, where the children of the factory workers attend. Carpets, poufs, and sweets were purchased.

Ajinomoto funded personal care products and cosmetics for the proteges of the foundation “Nie bądź obojętny” (eng. “Do not be indifferent”) and the association “Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Dzieciom i Rodzinie” (eng. “Assistance to Children and Families”), which helps orphanages and foster families.

The Ajinomoto company, bearing in mind the comfort of work of the factory employees, built a relaxation area with deckchairs, a fountain, and a place to rest.

MKS OSTROWIANKA Ostrów Mazowiecka organized a football tourney on the occasion of Children’s Day for its members and the residents of Ostrów Mazowiecki and the surrounding areas. Ajinomoto provided the players with soccer jerseys, goals, balls, and OYAKATA products for the visitors.

Ajinomoto funded a gaming computer for a protege of the Nikodem Foundation, who underwent a complicated kidney transplant and long postoperative treatment.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ajinomoto donated electric cups, kettles as well as OYAKATA products to the medical staff at the Hospital in Poznań. Toys (puzzles and jackstraws) were purchased for children’s and specialist departments.

Ajinomoto supported firefighters from the local fire department by providing OYAKATA products, disinfection materials, and disposable gloves that were essential in working during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
